| A: | Yes, all Appalachian Modular Homes meet or exceed all state building codes. In addition to being inspected by a full-time quality control manager, each Appalachian home is also inspected by an independent state-licensed agency to ensure that construction exceeds state codes. This independent third party seal of approval appears on each home that leaves the plant.
| A: | Absolutely. Every Appalachian Modular Home comes with a full one-year parts and labor warranty and a full ten-year warranty on the structure. All product warranties such as appliances, shingles and siding are covered by the respective manufacturer. |

| A: | From design concept to the completion of your new home, we can handle the entire job for you. We work along with you to design the home you want. Once the design and engineering is completed, we take care of getting all the permits, clearing the land, excavation, installing the foundation, utilities, water and sewage services, in order to provide you with a new custom built home ready to move in - turnkey.
| A: | We work with local Realtor's, land owners and Banker's to find a location that suits your needs as well as a financing package that works with your budget. |
| A: | We do not "drop-ship" our homes to our customers: we do the entire job for you. Despite what you may have been told by other companies, completing a modular home is not an easy or quick task. There are numerous details that need to be handled and you will not save time or money by being a general contractor. Consider the fact that we employ our own crews and while we have built hundreds of homes, it still takes us approximately eight weeks to finish a home once it is on the foundation.... and we know what we are doing! By having us do the entire job, we are the only company you need to communicate with during the complete building process. You will also know your final cost before you begin building and avoid surprises during the process. |
| A: | Every home we build is custom designed. We have hundreds of different floor plans which can be further modified to suit your needs. If you already have a home plan you favor, we can also work from that design. |
| A: | Just as in a conventional "site built" home, the options that are available in our homes are endless. Cathedral ceilings, fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, decks, covered porches, garages, atrium windows along with tile and hardwood flooring are just a few of the options available.
| A: | Once your homes arrives on the site and is on the foundation, it typically takes us six (6)to eight (8) weeks to complete your home and obtain the Certificate of Occupancy. However, there is a considerable amount of time that is needed in the permitting process through the design stage. As a rule of thumb, from the time you enter into a building agreement with us until you move in your new home is approximately a three month time period.
| A: | All modular sections of your home are covered by ten (10) year written structural warranty issued by the manufacturer. You will receive a home warranty book that will contain all of your warranty information at the time of walkthrough.
| A: | If you haven't done so already you should schedule a personal appointment, at your convenience, to discuss your new home plans. |
